TEACHING EXPERIENCE:
- Currently teaching 4 sections
of 8th grade Physical Science on a 4-person team.
- Units include:
Structure and Nature of Matter, Physics, Energy, and Ecology.
- Designed
curriculum virtually from scratch, and have created local common assessments
for the district.

Working collaboratively with both literacy specialist and head librarian
in planning and
teaching literacy and research skills.
Project Assistant
for the Horatio Colony Nature Preserve –
Antioch New England Institute ,
- Created public education programs, developed service learning projects for schools,
and maintained the property and trail network on the 450 acre
preserve.
- Compiled historical treasure hunts or “Quests” completed
by local school groups, and
created a booklet for small-scale publication.
Challenge Trail Assistant -
Wild Treasures: Sustainability
Naturally,
- Facilitated and led
groups of middle school students through the “Challenge Trail” that
engaged students
with problem solving challenges around sustainability concepts.
Farm
Educator – The Farm School,
- Instructed hands-on farm training around field crops,
gardening, animal care, and forestry.
- Developed and taught
courses based on building construction and rustic garden trellises.
- Led morning and evening nature walks around the 130 acres of surrounding
forest.
- Created program literature and designed financial growth
graphs for capital campaign.

through: student instruction,
curriculum design, field trip coordination, and gathering of resources
