from for this project...
 

"These projects should be taken as a way for you to demonstrate your understanding of the concepts of density. Show me how you can apply these science concepts to the world outside the classroom through your explanations and diagrams."

"Your mission will be to design and build a complex machine (like Rube Goldberg) that will successfully perform a simple task.  You will need to keep your creative intents within the given parameters.  However, other than that you will be the master designer and creator with infinite possibilities."

Junior Solar Sprint
 
Students have been working on the design, construction and testing of their solar cars for this regional competition!  100% engagement... More details here.
